I work closely with my clients to provide investment recommendations, risk analysis, and financial estate planning strategies to better serve my clients' needs. I also assist clients with income planning as they work toward saving for their retirement. My goal is to focus on a comprehensive financial plan that evaluates the benefits and concerns that many people have in their financial life.

Before becoming a Financial Advisor, I worked 11 years with the United States Department of Agriculture. I realized that I wanted to help others with their financial dreams, offer guidance and help in a meaningful and impactful way. As a former federal employee, I have the knowledge and understanding of the federal benefits system, which is advantageous in assisting clients with their life insurance and retirement income planning.

I also farm with my family in the Villisca area and have experienced the struggles and rewards that come with farming. When I work with clients who are farmers, successional financial planning is a huge concern for most. With my personal experience, I am able to help clients in this area that might be missing among today's retirement income planning advisors.

I am licensed in Life, Health and Disability Insurance and have obtained the Series 7 and 66 financial licenses, now held with LPL Financial. This enables me to provide clients with a variety of options in financial products as I develop financial plans that are personalized for my clients. I am also an investment fiduciary - which means I must always work in the best interest of my clients over my own.

I have been married to my wife, Karla, since June 2009, and we have two girls, Lilly and Payton. In my spare time, I am a volunteer firefighter with the Villisca Volunteer Firefighter Association and serve on the board of Villisca Alumni & Friends.
